A Russian diplomat. He graduated from the Faculty of International Relations of MGIMO Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, holds a doctorate in Historical Sciences from MGIMO Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation and a master's degree in Finance and Insurance from the Financial Academy under the Government of the Russian Federation. A Russian diplomat. Since 2008, his career has been closely linked with the United Nations: in 2008-2015, he worked as Deputy Permanent Representative of Russia to the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) and the United Nations World Food Program (WFP) in Rome, as well as an adviser–envoy of the Russian Embassy in Italy. In 1999-2008, he was Deputy Director of the Information and Press Department of the Russian Foreign Ministry. Today Kuznetsov Vladimir Valeryevich is the director of the UN Information Center in Moscow, Chairman of the UN country team in Russia.
